While I don't fancy myself as "good at it", I enjoy basic wood working, especially when it serves a practical need. My partner and I are both musicians and our living room is setup as a rehearsal space. I wanted a rolling rack mount that looked decent in a room and didn't cost an arm and a leg, so I designed and built my own.
As you can see in the Adobe Illustrator layout, the initial design changed a bit for simplicity's sake. It's built around an inner 2x4 frame and rolls on 2" industrial locking casters.
In the end, I was very happy with how it came out.
